"June came to my rescue - and our cat Roxy’s. Roxy had a 2 month holiday at Rose Cottage and she came home in the most beautiful condition. Eyes glistening, soft and shiny coat, happy and relaxed temperament. She had been suffering a bit with building work at home which is why we decided it would be best for her to have a little holiday. June sorted out her tummy upset and now she has a new diet she is so so happy. Communication was excellent. We are so grateful to June for looking after our fur baby and we wouldn’t send her anywhere else. I would highly recommend sending your cats here if you are looking for somewhere."
"My beautiful Birman cats Ruby, Lily and Rosie have just come home after spending a few days in Rose Cottage Cattery. They are always relaxed and happy staying in the cattery, where they have stayed many times before. I am also happy and relaxed leaving my cats in the very capable hands of June and Barry, knowing that they will be well looked after and loved while I am away. There are some essential new procedures in place due to Covid but they worked well."
"We have used Rose Cottage Cattery for possibly 26 years. Firstly, with our two Tonkinese cats and now with our two Burmese. The cattery is very clean and secure and June and Barrie give much care and attention to all their borders. We were concerned about having to leave one of our boys this year as he has eating difficulties and is also on medication. We were confident that June and Barrie would care for our boys as if they were their own, particularly as it was for a seven week stay. Whilst we were away, we were able to check on Rikki's progress and we were able to relax knowing that all was well. We would not hesitate to leave any of our beloved pets in June and Barrie’s care in the future and would thoroughly recommend this lovely cattery. When calling at Rose Cottage all the borders look very relaxed and happy in their holiday homes."
"We have been using Rose Cottage Cattery for the last 8 years. Our first cat Jerry was a lovely little lady with a very nervous stomach. June and Barrie looked after her extremely well giving her care and attention with her dietary issues. After losing her, we got Charlie, a completely different personality, and with a stomach of iron, and a fondness for mice! We use Rose Cottage Cattery at least 4 times a year, and Charlie adjusts very well each time, which means that we can enjoy our holiday knowing that he is being well cared for. He returns , happy, healthy clean, and ready to chase mice again. The cattery is easy to locate, has ample parking for dropping off and picking up, and the owners (June and Barrie) are a lovely caring couple, who give each cat individual care and attention. I certainly recommend this cattery to anyone needed to leave their furry friend."
"My cat Crumble has just returned from her second stay this year at Rose Cottage Cattery, where as usual she has received the best care and attention by the lovely June and Barrie. I don't know what I would do without them. Crumble is so relaxed during her stay she is often found lying on her back going to sleep, so very calm and comfortable in her surroundings. I have been using Rose Cottage Cattery for over 20 years for my rescue cats, and would highly recommend this wonderful cattery."
"I have just picked Poppy up, my 13 year old rather nervous tortoiseshell ,from Rose Cottage. This was her second stay there this year, with another planned for next month. She has been going to Rose Cottage for a number of years now and always returns a very contented cat. June & Barrie always take such good care of her , she genuinely enjoys her time with them. "At 14yrs old our cat Teddy has just spent his first ever 'holiday' at a cattery.....Rose Cottage Boarding Cattery. After losing his lifetime companion Tiger, and never having been away from home we were extremely unsure as to how Teddy would adjust to such a huge change. We are so pleased we chose Rose Cottage, it proved to be the perfect choice. Teddy returned from his holiday a content, happy and beautifully groomed cat. June & Barrie do a truly amazing job, it is a lovely cattery in a wonderful location and the individual care and attention they give each cat makes all the difference to their stay. When we collected Teddy he had clearly developed a trusting bond with June which was a pleasure to see and a great comfort to us. "Our beloved Morris who is 16 has been going to "his Junies" since he was 7, followed by 7 years of attendance of his sister Millie and more recently by the new addition to his furry clan of ladies, another sister, Mabel the kitten :) x The 2 tabs (Morris and Mabel) are very outgoing and sociable cats' whilst Millie is much quieter and is very nervous of strangers, however they all settle in very well at this wonderful Cattery, and are always relaxed and happy here on their holidays, which mean we can be the same on our ours. I cannot recommend this Cattery highly enough and thoroughly trust our wonderful threesome in the hands of the equally awesome, June, Barrie and Lou x"

Now, Sue is 18 years old and is in need of a bit of TLC in her latter years and she gets that with June and Barrie, we trust them completely and go away with not a single worry.
